Director CPRI Shimla calls on Governor

Director, Central Potato Research Institute, Shimla, N.K. Pandey, called on Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar at Raj Bhawan today and apprised him of the various activities of the Institute. He said that a massive awareness campaign should be launched to remove the various misconceptions about the use of potatoes. He expressed happiness that 66 different varieties of potato have been prepared by this institute, out of which 8 varieties can be processed. Later, National Academy of Audit and Accounts Director General Sunil S Dadhe also called on Governor. It was a courtesy call.
