Education Minister Thanks Teachers For Contribution Towards CM Relief Fund

Education Minister Rohit Thakur informed here today that the Himachal Pradesh State Teacher’s Association has generously agreed to contribute one day’s salary of all government primary school teachers towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund as a gesture of support to the victims of the recent calamity caused due to heavy rainfall and subsequent floods in various parts of the State.

He said that this decision of the Association was commendable and it exemplifies their commitment towards the welfare of the society. In this time of distress, we are grateful for the unity and empathy shown by the teachers of the state, stated the Minister. MLA, Malender Rajan was also present on the occasion.
