Enviro-Ideation Hackathon 2023: Transforming Waste into Wonder

The Enviro-Ideation Hackathon 2023, centered around the theme “Waste to Wonder,” is being launched on World Environment Day. This exciting event aims to engage undergraduate and above students from Himachal Pradesh in finding innovative solutions to critical environmental challenges, including solid waste, plastic waste, e-waste, and C&D waste.

“Unlocking Creativity for a Sustainable Future”

The hackathon offers a unique platform for young minds to collaborate and unleash their creativity in solving pressing environmental issues. Through ideation and technological advancements, participants will contribute to the preservation and conservation of the environment, paving the way for a more sustainable future.

“Three Weeks of Ideation and Collaboration”

The hackathon will run for three weeks, starting from May 15, 2023, with registration and submission. Participants will work in teams and receive guidance from field offices throughout the ideation process. Each participating team can have a maximum of three members.

“Exciting Prizes and Recognition”

The Enviro-Ideation Hackathon 2023 offers a rewarding prize pool. The first-place team will receive a cash prize of Rs. 75,000/-, the second-place team Rs. 50,000/-, and the third-place team Rs. 25,000/-. Additional cash prizes will be awarded to teams placed 4th to 10th. Winning teams will also be presented with trophies and certificates to recognize their outstanding contributions.

“Open to Diverse Disciplines”

Undergraduate and above students from Himachal Pradesh, across various disciplines such as engineering, environmental sciences, computer science, and business, are encouraged to participate and contribute their diverse perspectives to the hackathon.
