Swarn.Pub.Sc.21.10-(78)bSwaran Public School Tuti Kandi celebrated the Junior Annual Day as the occasion was graced by Trilok Suryavanshi, District Language Officer Shimla. He was welcomed by the Principal, Seema Mehta and staff members. The school has been progressing by leaps and bounds and this happens to be the Eleventh Annual Day. Welcoming the Chief Guest, the host spoke of his illustrious record in academics and achievements as a writer of some outstanding literature.

The students then took over to enthrall one and all with their cute performances. Saraswati Vandana was performed by Sneha, Dipika, Smriti, Parul, Kiran, Arpita and Bharti, all from class three. Representing National Integration were the students of Pre Nursery who came dressed in attires of different states. ‘Kabila Dance’ was then performed with much ease and enthusiasm by Varun, Satvik, Harshit, Tanmay, Yuvraj, Vansh, Ritesh, Mukul, Harsh and Lakshit.

Swarn.Pub.Sc.21.10-(92)aParents were next transported to the sixties with lively dance performances on yesteryear numbers by the girls of KG Class, namely Niharika, Parul, Manvi, Kritika, Priyanka, Alia, Vanshika, Ekta and Devyanshi. On the other hand, “old is gold” fever was carried forward by the boys of the same class – Ayush, Lakshit, Naman, Abhinav, Sachin and Sudhanshu who danced on the foot tapping number ‘Meri Umar Ke Naujwano’.

A colourful and graceful ribbon dance was presented by the boys and girls of Class One – Bhumika, Saksham, Devanshi, Naman, Siddharth, Arushi, Subhanshu, Shruti, Jatin, Piyush, Sarika and Aniket on the lovely number ‘Itni Si Hansi’.

Aayushi, Vanshul, Tanvi, Karan, Anshika, Harshit, Ankita, Ayush, Dipika, Kashish, Kartik, Irwin, Nancy of Class II danced on ‘London Thumakda’ and it was the lovable ‘Papa Mere Papa’ that touched the hearts of one and all with fathers joining their children on stage. It was indeed a moment to cherish. ‘Pagdi Sambhal Jatta’ was the patriotic fervour brought on stage by the boys of Class III who were dressed in tricolours that added magic to the show.

Other popular numbers like ‘Kala Chashma’ were presented by Hansika, Dhruv, Lakshmi, Piyush, Twishi, Anuj, Rita and Yuvraj. The grand finale was the state’s very own ‘Nati’ brought together by Avita, Krishnansh, Nandini, Lakshay, Sonakshi, Adhvik, Naman, Soumya of Class III. (Click for more Videos)

Presenting the school report, Principal Seema Mehta outlined the various activities undertaken by the school in the past year, highlighting the first prize won by Geetika Thakur in Hindi Debate at Manthan. Jatin Negi won the third prize in Math Olympiad conducted by the Science Congress. In International Space Olympiad twenty seven students cleared the Grade A level.

The chief guest Trilok Suryavanshi praised the staff and students and encouraged them to carry on the good work in years to come. Meritorious Students were then awarded for their performance in 2015.
