During his visit to Khairi and surrounding villages, the Chief Minister assessed the damage caused by recent floods and landslides and later inspected the land subsidence-hit area of Chabutra. Interacting with displaced families, he announced a comprehensive relief package of ₹8.70 lakh per family. This includes ₹7 lakh from the State Government for house reconstruction and ₹70,000 for essential household items.

Additionally, local MLA Captain Ranjit Singh pledged ₹1 lakh in assistance to each affected family, enhancing the total aid being provided.

The visit was marked by the presence of MLA Suresh Kumar, Chairman of Kangra Central Cooperative Bank Ram Chandra Pathania, State Nasha Nivaran Board Coordinator Naresh Thakur, and senior leaders including Dr. Pushpender Verma and Suman Bharti, along with Deputy Commissioner Amarjeet Singh and SP Bhagat Singh Thakur.
