Plus Two students of SD School gave a hearty welcome to the newly inducted Plus One students in the school with a variety entertainment programme. Principal V K Sondhi presided over the function as the Chief Guest as the programme began with the Saraswati Vandana. Staff members namely, Anjuna, Shalini, Vijay Thakur, Deepshika Sharma, Pushplata, Sucheta, Neetu were also present to encourage the new entrants in the school. Soon after the students took the stage giving some entertaining performances of solo and group dances.
In solo dance a student performed on ‘mujse naraj’, and in group dance they performed on the song ‘satyamay jayante’ and a vibrant Punjabi number ‘chitte suit’. The highlight was the Naati performance on the song ‘gava ri pikiye’. Shubhra, Kavita, Divya, Krishna, Riya, Malvika, Parul, Deepak, Gaurav, Bhavneet, Harprit, Mittal, Pankanj among other students participated in the event.
The message of warmth and pleasant greetings was sent across the hall to the new entrants to make them feel at home as it was all about bonding and creating a feeling of mutual respect and understanding among the peers. A splendid day was spent with the mingling of juniors and seniors.
