Good Governance Week: Camps to Resolve Public Grievances in Himachal

Himachal Pradesh is set to celebrate Good Governance Week from 19th to 24th December 2024 under the theme “Sushasan Saptah – Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore“. This initiative, organized in collaboration with the Department of Administrative Reforms, Government of India, aims to enhance governance at the grassroots level by resolving public grievances and improving service delivery.

Key Highlights of Sushasan Saptah 2024

  1. Grievance redressal camps will be organized at Tehsil Headquarters and Panchayat Samitis across Himachal Pradesh to address public grievances effectively.
  2. Workshops on good governance will be held on 23rd December 2024 at district levels to collate and share governance practices.
  3. The “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” Portal (URL: darpgapps.nic.in/GGW24) will serve as a platform for recording grievances and showcasing success stories in governance.
  4. Public participation is encouraged to ensure better governance and quicker resolution of issues.
