Government extends dialysis services under HIMCARE for private hospitals

A spokesperson for the Health Department announced that the empanelment of private hospitals under the Mukhya Mantri Himachal Health Care Scheme (HIMCARE) has been extended until 30th November 2024, specifically for providing dialysis services.

He said that the empanelment will be valid from 1st September to 30th November 2024. He clarified that all other provisions of the scheme would remain unchanged.

The spokesperson further said that this decision has been made in the larger public interest to ensure continuous access to essential healthcare services for patients requiring dialysis.
