Shiv Pratap Shukla and Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu have conveyed their warm greetings to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri.
In his message, the Governor said that Shivratri is one of the major festivals of the state, celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm. He expressed hope that the sacred festival would bring happiness, peace, and prosperity to everyone’s lives.
The Chief Minister stated that Himachal Pradesh is known as the abode of Lord Shiva and that Shivratri celebrations held across the state carry special significance. He noted that people of the state have been observing the festival with deep faith and joy since time immemorial. He further expressed hope that the festival would strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and harmony among the people.
