Governor Rajendra Nath Arlekar has congratulated the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur for achieving 100 percent target of second dose of vaccination to targeted age group and touching a new milestone. He also thanked the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his full cooperation in achieving this goal. The Governor said that Himachal Pradesh had already achieved inoculation of first dose of covid vaccination and today despite difficult topography the State has secured first place in the country to administer second dose of Covid vaccine to cent percent targeted eligible population.
He said that this achievement of the state determines that any milestone can be achieved with able leadership, management and guidance, which has been proved well by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. While congratulating the medical fraternity and other front line workers, the Governor said that it was due to their dedication and untiring efforts that this arduous task had been achieved. He said that with completion of second dose of covid vaccination, the state has contributed immensely towards success of the biggest vaccination drive launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
