Governor Visits Golden Temple and Durgiana Mandir

Governor, Shiv Pratap Shukla on Tuesday paid obeisance at Golden Temple, Amritsar besides offering prayers at Durgiana Mandir with lady Governor, Janaki Shukla. The Governor also participated in ‘Guru’s Sewa’ at Golden Temple as well. They were also honoured on the occasion at both places.

Shukla said it was a memorable moment for him and his wife to offer prayers at the holy shrines and seek the blessings of the Almighty. Later he also visited the Wagah border and interacted with the Jawans. The Governor also paid homage to the martyrs at Jallianwala Bagh by offering floral tributes. Remembering the sacrifices of the martyrs, he said that they will always be a source of inspiration for the coming generations, giving them a message for maintaining the sovereignty and integrity of their motherland.
