Govt Revises Pre-Paid Taxi Fare from ISBT Shimla

The Transport Department Himachal Pradesh has revised the fare rates for pre-paid taxis operating on a point-to-point basis from Inter-State Bus Terminal Shimla to Chandigarh.

A departmental spokesperson said the revised fares have been notified under the provisions of the Himachal Pradesh Pre-Paid Taxi Scheme 2004.

According to the new rates, the fare from ISBT Shimla to Chandigarh city has been fixed at Rs. 3000 for Taxi and Rs. 5000 for Maxi Taxi.

Similarly, the fare from ISBT Shimla to Chandigarh International Airport has been set at Rs. 3500 for Taxi and Rs. 5500 for Maxi Taxi.

The revised fare structure will apply to pre-paid taxi services operating from ISBT Shimla, the spokesperson added.
