Tiny tots of EuroKids, New Shimla, celebrated their Annual Graduation Day at the Gaiety Theater here today. During the event Mansi Thakur, Director Women and Child Welfare Department and Director IT Department was present as the chief guest who appreciated the efforts and attempts made by the teachers and staff to mould the lives of the little ones. She highlighted the importance of early years in the development of a child as these values are the foundations on which future of each child depends.
She also made the parents familiar with various scheme for the development of children and requested them to support government to run educational institutions efficiently by sharing their views.
The event started with lamp lighting ceremony which was followed by Guru Vandana dance by the cuties where each child was dressed as ‘apsraas’ and evoked the blessings of Gods.
Little ones made us all realize the value of true friendship as they performed on the song ‘Count On Me‘, which many of us forget as we get tangled up in our busy lives. We often forget to lend a helping hand to our fellow friends.
Then came turn for dance performance on song ‘Dil Hai Chota Sa‘, where students expressed their carefree nature and innocent expectations from life as they are about to enter a new important phase of their life.
An audio visual presentation was presented where highlight of the year gone by were showcased. The main focus in the school remains on the overall development of the students as life is not always bed of roses so values of tolerance and experience is inculcated in them via celebration of various festivals and field trips to various important places like post office, medical stores, petrol pump stations and nature walks.
Other dances included celebration of carefree attitude of children and humanity.
Parents too celebrated their children’s achievement as their mother’s performed a power packed Bhangra dance which won the hearts of all present.
School Principal, Ravine Singh was extremely happy as the event turned out to be a grand success and she wished her students all the best for their new life’s journey ahead. She was confident that they will never say die in their life and achieve new heights in everything they do in their bright future.
