A perfect, vibrant and spirited ending to the two day event, the 21st Annual Day Celebrations by the tiny tots of RegalPublic School, Shimla. Each and every child performed on the stage and the best part, all students gave individual performances too, whether it was a poem, song or dance, just before receiving their prizes. Principal, Manmohan Khanna was happy with the concert and gave full credit to his hard working staff, Anupam Dogra, Aradhana, Nisha Verma, Vidya, Divya, Monika, Neelam and Nisha Kashyap. He said, “We put in lots of efforts to ensure that every child gets to perform on the stage, no matter how big or small the act it. I also wish to express my gratitude and appreciation towards my teaching and support staff as it is their patience and diligence that has been reflected on the stage today”.
Continuing from previous day’s prize distribution and acts, the morning started with a lively performance by Shourya Chandel, Eccha Jaswal, Nayab Ghai, Naitigya Sharma, Pravallika and Rijul, Saiyam on the song Itni Si Hansi. Like yesterday, today as well, the programme was interspersed with the prize distribution. Regalites really showed their skills and umpteen confidence while giving solo acts. Every child who stepped on the stage expressed himself/herself with poise and self-belief.
The next performance was on the energetic song Chak Dhoom Dhoom by Aahana, Tanvi, Darshi, Tavishi, Shavi, Molli, Paridhi and Lavanya, followed by Sanskar Aaditya, Anahat, Agnay, Anshita, Bhavya, Tanmay, Divangi, Shranya on the Twist song. Even though the moves were random and casual but the Boogie Woogie spirit was very much evident in the performances of Kashvi, Saumya, Aarav, Mayank, Neerav, Nehal, Sambhav, Rishit and Charvi. The stage then vibrated with Bhangra and Dhol beats as dressed in Punjabi attire, boys and girls displayed their moves. To rock the stage and the audience, Aaditya Verma, Sheril, Kamod, Mannat Gupta, Rahul, Chhavi, Anmol and Amayra gave a scintillating performance and were greeted with loud claps from the parents.
The day ended in the midst of cheers and celebrations with elated parents seeing the performance of their angels!!!
