CM Sukhu today unveiled the official T-shirt for the upcoming 4th edition of the Manali Marathon, scheduled to take place from 30th October to 1st November 2026 in the scenic hills of Kullu district. Organised by the Manali Marathon and Himalayan Xtreme Sports Association, the event carries the powerful message: ‘Green Warriors: Youth Initiative for a Drug-Free, Fit and Clean Himachal’. The organisers have also extended a special invitation to the Chief Minister to grace the event as the Chief Guest.
Designed to position Himachal Pradesh as a global hub for high-altitude sports, eco-tourism, and high-octane adventure, the three-day sports extravaganza will test endurance across multiple categories. These include the demanding 100-km Rohtang Pass Ultra Challenge, the Full Marathon (42 km), the Half Marathon (21 km), as well as 10-km and 5-km mass runs.
Extending his best wishes, Sukhu highlighted the marathon’s vital role in championing environmental preservation, fitness, and a substance-free lifestyle. Reaffirming the State Government’s resolve to eradicate drug abuse through strict action and public awareness, he emphasized that active community involvement is the key to building a healthier, drug-free Himachal.
