The State Cabinet meeting held here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur decided that the State Government would ensure jobs to the ‘Agniveers’. The Cabinet gave its approval to engage 3970 Para Workers (i.e. 1146 Para Pump Operators, 480 Para Fitters and 2344 Multi Purpose Workers) on honorarium basis (six hourly per day) in Jal Shakti Department for departmental schemes across the State as per the Para Worker Policy of the Department.
It gave its consent to fill up 389 posts of Panchayat Secretaries in Panchayati Raj Department through Staff Selection Board through direct recruitment on contract basis. The Cabinet gave its approval to create 124 new posts and fill up 40 posts of Technical Assistants in Panchayati Raj Department through Staff Selection Board through direct recruitment on contract basis. It also gave approval to fill up 124 posts of Gram Rojgar Sewaks for newly constituted Gram Panchayats through selection committee.
The Cabinet gave its approval for creating and filling up of 73 posts of Police personnel in State Excise Department for effective implementation of Excise NDPS and other regulatory legislations. This would not only safeguard Government revenue but also re-assert Government’s commitment to combat drug menace in a holistic manner.
The Cabinet gave its approval for providing four per cent reservation of the total number of vacancies in the cadre strength in promotional posts within Class-IV, from Class-IV to Class-III, within Class-III from Class-III to Class-II, within Class-II and from Class-II to the lowest rung of Class-I for the persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBDs) in the services of the State Government.
In order to ensure free and fair conduction of examinations by the Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission, Hamirpur, the Cabinet decided that the recruitment/examination conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission, Hamirpur would be brought under the preview of the HP Prevention of Mal Practice at University Board or other specified examination Act, 1984.
The cabinet gave its approval to open new sub tehsil at Jalag in Tehsil Jaisinghpur in Kangra district to facilitate the people of the area.
It gave approval to amend the Himachal Pradesh Widow Remarriage Rules-2013 by making a provision of providing grant of Rs. 65000 instead of existing Rs.50000 to the couple.
The Cabinet accorded its approval for renewal of State Government ‘No Default Guarantee’ in favour of Himachal Road Transport Corporation for availing cash credit limit of Rs. 60 crore for financial year 2022-23.
It gave its approval to enhance the state government guarantee amount from Rs.10 crore to Rs. 30 crore in favour of Himachal Pradesh Forest Development Corporation Ltd to avail CCL(cash credit limit) at lower rate of interest.
EDUCATION
The Cabinet also gave its approval to upgrade Government High School Snarsa in Rampur area of Shimla district to Senior Secondary alongwith creation and filling up of requisite posts.
It also approved starting of science classes in Government Senior Secondary School Bihani in Mandi district.
The Cabinet accorded approval to upgrade Government High School Granger to Senior Secondary School, Government Middle Schools Manglera, Jutrahan and Lader to Government High Schools and Government Primary School Channa in Dalhousie area of Chamba district to Government Middle schools along with creation and filling up of 23 posts of different categories.
It also gave approval for upgradation of Government Primary School Dehrinal in Darang area of Mandi district to Government middle school alongwith creation and filling up of requisite posts.
The Cabinet approved to start commerce classes in Government Senior Secondary School Thachi and Science (Non Medical) classes in Government Secondary Schools Pressi and Chah Ka Dohra in Mandi district alongwith creation and filling up of seven posts of different categories.
It gave its approval to name Government Senior Secondary School Sissu in Lahaul Spiti district at Shaheed Havaldar Stenzin Funchok Government Secondary School Sissu as a mark of respect to the Indo China 1962 war martyr.
The Cabinet accorded approval to upgrade Government high schools Loharali, Kinnu and Bhalon in Una district to Government Secondary schools and upgradation of Government middle schools Babehar and Lower Andoura (Badau) to Government high schools alongwith creation and filling up of 24 posts of different categories to man these newly upgraded schools.
It gave approval to start science classes in Government Secondary School Tikkari Newal in Shimla district alongwith creation and filling up of three posts of different categories.
The Cabinet accorded approval to upgrade Government primary school Tiuri to Government Middle School, Government Middle School Nari to Government High School and Government Primary Schools Tihra and Kakrana to Government Middle schools in Una district alongwith creation and filling up of 15 posts of different categories.
The Cabinet approved upgradation of Government Primary School Chowki-1 in Kullu district to Government Middle School alongwith creation and filling up of three posts of different categories.
It gave approval to start science classes in Government Secondary Schools Kaloh, Jahar and Gagal Shikore in Sirmour district alongwith creation and filling up of seven posts of different categories.
The Cabinet gave its approval to start sciences classes in Government Degree College Baldwara in Mandi district alongwith creation and filling up of 10 posts of different categories.
It gave its approval to enhance scholarship rates of various scholarship schemes which include enhancing scholarship under Maharshi Valmiki Chhatarvriti Yojna from existing Rs. 9000 to Rs. 18000 per annul, Indira Gandhi Utkrisht Chhatarvriti Yojna for post plus two students from Rs. 10000 to Rs. 18000 per annum, Kalpana Chawla Chhatarvriti Yojna from existing Rs. 15000 per annum to Rs. 18000 per annum, Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chhatarvriti Yojna to SC students from Rs. 12000 to Rs. 18000 per annum, Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chhatarvriti Yojna to OBC students from existing Rs. 10000 to Rs. 18000 per annum, Swami Vivekanand Utkrishit Chhatarvriti Yojna from Rs. 10000 to Rs. 18000 per annum, Rashtriya Indian Military College Scholarship from Rs. 20000 to Rs. 24000 per annum, Sainik School Sujanpur Tihra Scholarship would be now Rs. 18000 per annum for all students, financial assistance to the children of Armed Force personnel killed/ disabled during the different wars/operations would now be Rs. 18000 per annum and IRDP/BPL Scholarship now renamed as Mukhya Mantri Vidyarti Kalyan Yojna would now get scholarship ranging from Rs. 1500 per annum to Rs. 6000 per annum.
It gave approval to open new Primary School at village Upper Gahar in Manali Vidhan Sabha area of Kullu district.
HEALTH
The Cabinet gave its approval to create two posts of Technical Assistant (Radiation Safety) in the Directorate of Health Safety and Regulation.
It also gave approval to create and fill four posts of Radiographer in Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College Tanda in Kangra district on contract basis.
The Cabinet gave its consent to open Primary Health Centre at village Nariwala in Gram Panchayat Ajoli in Sirmour district alongwith creation and filling up of requisite posts.
It gave its approval to upgrade Primary Health Centre Rampur Bushahar in Shimla district to Community Health Centre alongwith creation and filling up of five posts of different categories.
It gave its approval to upgrade Health Sub Centre Panjehara in Nalagarh tehsil of Solan district to Primary Health Centre alongwith creation and filling up of three posts of different categories.
The Cabinet approved upgradation of Health Sub Centres Sural and Creuni in Chamba district to Primary Health Centres alongwith creation and filling up of requisite posts.
It accorded approval to open Primary Health Centre Doli in Ramshehar Tehsil of Solan district alongwith creation and filling up of three posts of different categories.
The Cabinet gave its approval to upgrade Primary Health Centre Dhaneta in Hamirpur District to Community Health Centre alongwith creation and filling up of requisite posts.
The Cabinet gave approval to open Primary Health Centres at Kohal and Dehgran in Churah tehsil of Chamba district alongwith creation and fillng up of 6 posts of different categories to man these institutions.
It also gave its consent to open new Ayurvedic Health Centre at Kishanpura in Gram Panchayat Bhatanwali in Sirmour district alongwith creation and filling up of three posts of different categories.
The Cabinet gave its approval to open new Ayurvedic Health Centres at village Mundi and village Bairghat in Sulah Vidhan Sabha area of Kangra district alongwith creation and filling up of six posts of different categories.
It gave its approval to open new Ayurvedic Health Centre at Sarachi in Gram Panchayat Kalhani in Mandi district alongwith creation and filling up of three posts.
The Cabinet gave its approval to fill up six posts of Assistant Professors in IGMC Shimla and Atal Institute of Medical Super Specialty Chamiana through direct recruitment.
It gave approval to open Veterinary hospital at Lahru in Kangra distrit and another Veterinary Hospital at Seru in Mandi district creation and filling up of 10 posts of different categories.
The Cabinet gave its approval to upgrade the Veterinary Dispensaries at Biar, Badagran, Majhog Sultani, Lamblu in Hamirpur district and Veterinary Dispensaries in Gada Gusaini in Mandi district to Veterinary Hospitals alongwith creation and filling up of 15 posts of different posts of different categories.
It gave its approval to open new Division of Jal Shakti Department in Nadaun Vidhan Sabha area of Hamirpur district alongwith creation and filling up of 13 posts of different categories.
The Cabinet also accorded approval to merge Flood Control Sub Division Amb with Jal Shakti Division Amb alongwith staff and infrastructure.
It also gave its approval to open new Jal Shakti Sub Division at Sahu in Chamba district under Jal Shakti Division Chamba alongwith creation and filling up of 4 posts of different categories.
The Cabinet gave its consent to reorganize Jal Shakti Division Bhoranj in Hamirpur district for smooth functioning and to facilitate the people.
It gave approval to open new Jal Shakti Section at Kao under Jal Shakti Sub division Karsog in Mandi district.
It gave its approval to open new Government Industrial Training Institute at village Bechar ka Bag in Dadahu tehsil of Sirmour district alongwith creation and filling up of 13 posts of different categories.
The Cabinet gave approval to open new Government Industrial Training Institute at Dharti Dhar in Renukaji Vidhan Sabha area of Sirmour district alongwith creation and filling up of 14 posts of different categories.
It gave its consent to start B.Tech Computer Sciences & Engineering and M.Tech. in Civil Engineering in Jawahar Lal Nehru Government Engineering College Sundernagar alongwith creation and filling up of 12 posts of different categories.
The Cabinet gave approval to open new Government Industrial Training Institute at Jari in Kullu Vidhan Sabha area of Kullu district.
It gave its approval to start to new trades of Embroidery and Welder in Government ITI Chachiot in Mandi district alongwith four posts of different categories.
It also approved opening of new ITI at Kwaran in Ramshehar tehsil of Solan district.
It also gave consent to open new ITI at Gada Gusaini in Seraj Vidhan Sabha area of Mandi district.
The Cabinet gave approval to open ITI at Harchakiyan Sub Tehsil in Shahpur Vidhan Sabha area of Kangra district.
In order to encourage innovation and research in Agriculture and Horticulture Sector, the Cabinet gave its approval to provide Research Fund of Rs. Five crore each for Agriculture and Horticulture Universities of the State.
The Cabinet gave its approval to fill up 30 posts of Sub Inspectors in Police Department (20 Male and 10 Female) through Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection through direct recruitment.
In order to regulate development in a planned and systematic manner, the Cabinet gave its approval to extend the existing Solang Special Area till South Portal of Atal Tunnel.
It gave its approval extension in the validity period of letter in intent for setting up of distillery at village Maujna Beed Plassi in Nalagarh tehsil of Solan district in favour of Ms RKV Spirits Pvt Ltd upto 31st July, 2023.
The Cabinet gave its approval to upgrade Ayurvedic Health Centre Purana Bajar in Sundernagar tehsil of Mandi district to 10 bedded Ayurvedic Hospital alongwith creation and filling of five posts of different categories. Panchkarma facility would also be started in this hospital.
It gave its approval to rename Government Degree College Nohra in Kangra district to Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Degree College Nohra as mark of respect to Bharat Ratan and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
The Cabinet gave approval to open Government Degree College Banikhet at Banikhet in Chamba district alongwith creation and filling up of 18 posts of different categories.
It gave approval to start Science (Medical and Non Medical) classes in Government Degree College Lunj in Kangra district alongwith creation and filling up of 9 posts of Assistant Professors. The Cabinet gave its approval to fill up eight posts of Manual Assistants in Legal Metrology in Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department on contract basis through direct recruitment.
It gave approval for filling up of 8 posts of different categories in newly upgraded development block Udaipur in Lahaul Spiti district.
The Cabinet gave approval to include nine Gram Panchayats of Naggar development block in Kullu development block for planned development.
It also gave its consent to open Division of Executive Engineer under Zila Parishad Cadre under Panchayati Raj Department in Kutlehar Vidhan Sabha area of Una District alongwith creation and filling up of 12 posts of different categories.
The Cabinet gave its approval to create and fill up 11 posts of different categories for various colleges under Dr. Y.S.Parmar Horticulture & Forestry University Nauni.
The Cabinet gave its approval to upgrade Government Middle Schools Amarkot, Kolruwala, Jwalapur, Sirmouri Tal, Gulabgarh, Khara, Kuner, Loza, Kandela, Bangran, Behriwala, and Bhattanwali in Sirmour district to Government High Schools and Government High Schools Dang Ruhana, Kotri Bias, Kishanpura and Khodri to Government Senior Secondary Schools alongwith creation and filling up of 68 posts of different categories.
It also gave its approval to upgrade Government Primary schools Makhnu Majra, Randhala, Bhangla ,Baddal, Riyam, Nanowal-2, Salehran, Gadon, Plassi, Jabe Da Haar in Solan district to Middle school alongwith creation and filling up of 30 posts of different categories.
The Cabinet decided to upgrade Government Middle School Behli Dhar and Thach Kuther in Mandi district alongwith creation and filling up of 8 posts of different categories.
It decided to upgrade Governmnent Middle Schools Tarangala, Kumarhattim, Rampur Paswalan, Dhana, Sunna to Governnent High Schools and Government High Schools Sheran, Jagjitnagar, Mastanpura, Sai Charog, Purla, Gunaha, Palli, Nangal, Nawan Gram in Solan district and Government High School Pairwin in Hamirpur district to Government Senior Secondary Schools alongwith creation and filling up of 78 posts of different categories.
The Cabinet gave approval to start Science classes in Government Senior Secondary Schools Manpura Dewra, Nihalgarh and Ajoli and Commerce classes in Government Senior Secondary Schools Toka Nangla, Puruwala, Jamniwala, Killour and Timbi in Sirmour district alongwith creation of 19 posts of different categories.
It also decided to upgrade Government Middle School Majhar and Shidhari to Government High Schools and Government High School Hellan to Senior Secondary Schools alongwith creation of 13 posts of different categories.
The Cabinet decided to increase the honorarium of IT Teachers appointed on Outsource in different schools by Rs. 1000 per month from 1st April, 2022.
It also decided to upgrade Veterinary Dispensaries at Bhanjal, Joh, Ghanari, Thathal, Chak Sarai in Una district and Veterinary Dispensaries at Puruwala and Shivpur in Sirmour district, Veterinary Dispansasries Kutharna, Tatwani and Sanhoon in Kangra district to Veterinary Hospitals alongwith creation and filling up of 30 posts of different categories in these institutions.
It also decided to open new Veterinary Dispensary at Bhanera in Mandi district.
The Cabinet decided to open new Veterinary Dispensaries at Kulal in Chamba district, Harot in Una district, Charara, Balh Khalsa and Bohru in Una district and Basoot in Mandi district alongwith creation and filling up of 12 posts of different categories.
It also decided to open new Veterinary Hospitals at Panjeda in Kullu district.
The cabinet decided to open Primary Health Centre at Sugh Bhatoli in Kangra district alongwith creation and filling up of requisite posts.
It also gave its consent to open Health Sub Centres at Roharidhar, Deem and Dugga in Kullu district along with creation and filling up of requisite posts.
It also gave its consent to open Health Sub Centres at Samba, and Saindu in Kangra district along with creation and filling up of requisite posts.
The Cabinet also gave its consent to open Health Sub Centre at gram Panchayat Hatwas in Kangra district and at village Baithwan in Chhatri sub tehsil of Mandi district along with creation and filling up of requisite posts.
It also decided to open Primary Health Centre at Kharoth in Kangra district.
The Cabinet also decided to start indoor facilities in PHC Thachi under CHC Balichowki in Mandi district by increasing its bed capacity to 10 beds.
It decided to open PHC at Lambloo and upgrade PHC Bhota to CHC.
It also gave its approval to open Health Sub Centres at Palhuin, Kakain and Kaila in Chamba district alongwith creation and filling up of various posts.
It gave its approval to open PHC at Deeman Chahri in Gram Panchayat Seraj of Kullu district.
The Cabinet decided to open Health Sub Centres at Gram Panchayat Badaran and Kotla Chilliyan in Hamirpur district.
It gave its approval to fill up 16 posts of different categories in 15 bedded Civil Hospital Bangana and CHC Thana Kalan in Una district.
It accorded its approval to open Health Sub Centres at Labana-Dera, Tappar, Chitterkoot and Naddal in Chamba district.
The Cabinet decided to upgrade CHC Nalagarh in Solan district to 100 bedded Civil Hospital alongwith creation and filling up of requisite posts.
It decided to upgrade 30 bedded CHC Daulatpur Chowk in Una district to 50 bedded CHC alongwith creation and filling up 19 posts of different categories.
The Cabinet also decided to upgrade PHC Lapyana to CHC.
It decided to upgrade Health Sub Centre Khunachi in Mandi district to PHC.
It also decided to open Health Sub Centres at Kotinamba, Seri, Ranon,Mehlon and Gagudi in Kasauli Vidhan Sabha area of Solan district.
The Cabinet also gave its consent to open Health Sub Centres at Katwanu, Dhabehar and Sudhrani in Mandi district.
It also decided to create six posts of Doctors in ESI Hospital Parwanoo in Solan district.
It decided to upgrade PHC Kundian in Sirmour district to CHC alongwith creation and filling up of 4 four posts of different categories.
The Cabinet decided to open new Health Sub Centre at Bina in Sundernagar tehsil of Mandi district and PHC at village Bhadela in Chamba district.
It also decided to upgrade PHC Kamrau in Sirmour district to CHC alongwith creation and filling up of three posts of different categories.
It approved to open Health Sub Centre at Diyar in Kullu district and upgrade Health Sub Centre Manpura in Solan district to PHC.
It decided to open Primary Health Centres at Bahli Koti and Halaha in Sirmour district, Karsai in Kullu district and Bandali in Mandi district alongwith creation and filling up of requisite posts.
The Cabinet decided to open new Government ITI at Kataula in Mandi district alongwith creation of 13 posts of different categories.
It also decided to start new trades of Electrician, Mechanic Motor Vehicle and Plumber in Government ITI Karsog in Mandi district.
It also decided to start new trades of Plumber and Technician Medical Electronics in Government ITI Kotli in Mandi district.
