Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh today chaired the first meeting of the Special Task Force Committee, which has been constituted to address and expedite priority issues related to infrastructure projects undertaken by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) in Himachal Pradesh.

The meeting focused on the timely execution of both ongoing and upcoming national highway projects in the state. Key agenda items discussed included land acquisition, forest and environmental clearances, utility shifting, dumping sites, and dredging of the Beas River.
