Himachal Pradesh has been ranked first amongst Most Improved Big States in Health in a survey released by India today. Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur here today lauded the efforts of Health Department and Front line workers of the State for this achievement. The Chief Minister said that Himachal Pradesh made it to the top position for successfully carrying out Covid treatment and vaccination drive, despite difficult terrain. He said that the state inoculated cent percent first dose of Covid Vaccination for all eligible citizens and the state has so for administered second dose to over 85 percent of its people. Jai Ram Thakur said that the state government is committed to provide better health services and facilities to the people of the state, as a result of which the state has been ranked first in health index.
