Himachal Eco Task Force Leads Mega Plantation for Awareness

A mega plantation drive was conducted by the 133 Eco task force with an aim to aware the people regarding environmental protection and the objective of International Forest Day which is celebrated on 21st March every year.

A mega afforestation drive besides environmental awareness cum cleanliness campaign was organized by Eco Task Force at various parts of the state. The purpose of this event is to promote the protection of forests and environmental protection.

The event was organized with the inclusive participation of 7 HP Battalion of NCC, Students of Senior Secondary School Kufri, Members of Mahila Mandal Kufri, NGO’s and Staff of IHM.

 On this occasion, a mega tree plantation campaign was also organized in village Thalli and 1200 trees of different species were planted. Apart from this, a tree plantation campaign was also organized in village Sari in which more than 1500 trees was planted.
