The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is gearing up to take on the Congress at every level in Himachal Pradesh, ranging from local panchayat elections to the state assembly polls, said party national vice president Saudan Singh.
Speaking at the state working committee meeting held in Mandi on Tuesday, Singh emphasized that the party’s strength lies in the dedication and commitment of its grassroots workers, which he described as the foundation for reinstating a strong “double-engine government” in the state.
Singh elaborated on BJP’s strategy at the local level, underscoring the principle of “one worker for every task and every task for every worker,” ensuring that the party remains effective and organized down to the booth level. “This system keeps the BJP firmly embedded in every district, constituency, and community,” he added.
Targeting the Congress, Singh criticized the ruling party for appearing indifferent to the daily struggles of citizens. “While the people of Himachal face increasing challenges, the Congress government seems unconcerned. The BJP is determined to bridge this gap decisively,” he remarked.
He called on party workers to intensify their preparations for upcoming elections, insisting that the BJP is ready to challenge the Congress at all stages and secure a sweeping mandate. “From grassroots bodies to the assembly, the BJP is disciplined, organized, and fully prepared to deliver a decisive outcome against Congress,” Singh said.
Highlighting organizational discipline as the party’s key strength, Singh said that unity and coordinated cadre work would help the BJP drive development and good governance across the state. He urged active public engagement to address voter concerns and ensure every vote is counted.
He further stated that the combination of strong local outreach, dedicated cadre activity, and growing public dissatisfaction with the Congress is expected to lead to a clear electoral victory in Himachal Pradesh. Singh reaffirmed the BJP’s commitment to governance centered on citizens, transparency, progress, and sustainable development.
