Union Minister assures to provide sufficient Covid vaccine to achieve target of second dose of vaccination Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur called on Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, and Chemicals and Fertilizers Mansukh Mandaviya at New Delhi today.
Chief Minister requested the Union Minister for sanctioning of Bulk Drug Pharma Park for the state. He said that Himachal Pradesh is the Pharma hub in Asia and sanctioning of Bulk Drug Pharma Park will boost industrialization in the state and generate employment avenues for the people.
Chief Minister also apprised him about the success story of completion of first dose of covid vaccination to the entire eligible population of the state and that state achieved 103 percent vaccination which included migrant labour and tourists too. He also thanked the Minister for providing ample doses to the state on time.
Chief Minister also apprised him that state government is working in a focussed manner to complete second dosage of Covid vaccine to eligible population by 30th November.
The Union Minister congratulated the Chief Minister for the achievement of state and assured that there will be no shortage of vaccines to complete the target. He assured of all possible assistance to state. Chief Secretary Ram Subah Singh gave valuable inputs in the meeting. Principal Resident Commissioner S.K. Singla and Deputy Resident Commissioner Pankaj Sharma were present in the meeting.
