HP Governor Performs ‘Asanas’ to Mark International Day of Yoga

Governor Bandaru Dattatraya on Monday performed various ‘Asanas’  at Raj Bhavan here, on the occasion of the International Day of Yoga.

He participated in a Yoga session organized by the Department of Ayush, through a virtual platform at his residential premises, to mark the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said, “Yoga is the best means to purify mind and soul, without it we can not envisage a healthy body. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it has become more relevant.”

He appealed to the people to make Yoga an integral part of life which is our old traditions. He stressed on making it a routine activity to evade negative energy.
