HP High Court Expands Bench with Three New Appointments

In an impressive official ceremony held at Lok Bhavan, Chirag Bhanu Singh was sworn in as a permanent Judge of the Himachal Pradesh High Court, while Bhupesh Sharma and Yogesh Jaswal took the oath of office as Additional Judges. Governor Kavinder Gupta administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed judicial officers in the presence of Chief Justice Gurmeet Singh Sandhawalia and key state dignitaries.

The formal proceedings of the ceremony were conducted by Chief Secretary K.K. Pant, who read out the official warrants of appointment issued by the President of India. Following the administration of the oath, Secretary to the Governor Sandeep Bhardwaj obtained the requisite signatures of the Governor and the newly sworn-in judges on the official oath forms to formally mark the occasion.
