HPAIC Logs Strong Growth with ₹33 Cr Revenue

The 262nd Board Meeting of Himachal Pradesh Agro Industries Corporation Limited (HPAIC) was held today under the chairmanship of Revenue, Horticulture and Tribal Development Minister Jagat Singh Negi.

During the meeting, it was informed that the Corporation achieved a turnover of ₹33 crore (pre-audit) and earned a net profit of ₹93.34 lakh (pre-audit) in the first five months of the current financial year 2025–26, covering the period from 1 April to 31 August 2025.

Minister Jagat Singh Negi noted that in the same period last year, the Corporation had registered a turnover of ₹40 crore and a net profit of ₹92.25 lakh. Despite the slight dip in turnover, the Corporation maintained profitability, and the net profit is projected to grow further by the end of the financial year.

He stated that the Corporation’s key revenue streams include the sale of petroleum products, lubricants, tyres and tubes, cement, as well as cattle and poultry feed.

Appreciating the dedicated efforts of the Corporation’s officers and employees, the Minister emphasized the need to expand operations with innovative initiatives that benefit the farming community of Himachal Pradesh. He also suggested exploring the possibility of setting up a new petrol pump in Nurpur (Kangra district) to enhance outreach and services.

Other strategic matters and future action plans were also discussed during the meeting.

The meeting was attended by Secretary Horticulture C. Paulrasu, and senior officials from the concerned departments.
