HPPSC Leaders Meet Governor on Recruitment

Captain Rameshwar Singh Thakur, Chairman of the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC), along with other Commission members, called on Governor Kavinder Gupta at Lok Bhavan today.

During the meeting, the Chairman briefed the Governor on the Commission’s ongoing activities and initiatives, focusing on examinations, recruitment processes, and measures to ensure transparency, efficiency, and fairness in selecting candidates for various government services. Administrative and institutional matters concerning the Commission’s functioning were also discussed in detail.

The Governor appreciated HPPSC’s commitment to merit and integrity in recruitment and emphasized the adoption of modern, technology-driven systems to further improve transparency, accountability, and efficiency in examinations and hiring.

He also highlighted that a fair and credible recruitment process strengthens public trust in governance and contributes to the State’s overall development. Expressing confidence in the Commission, he said he expects it to continue its work with dedication and professionalism.
