SHIMLA: Indian Air Force is going to conduct Airman Medical Assistant and Medical Assistant (Pharmacist) recruitment rally for male candidates from the states of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Chandigarh. Wing Commander Airmen Selection Center Ambala Cantt S.V.G Reddy informed that only unmarried men will be eligible for Group Y Medical Assistant as Airmen and both unmarried and married men will be eligible for Medical Assistant (Pharmacist).
The recruitment rally will be held from 3 July to 12 July 2024 at Base Repair Depot, Air Force Station, Chandigarh. To participate in the rally, it is mandatory for the candidate to register first. Registration will be from 11:00 am on 22nd May to 11:00 pm on 5th June. Rally details are available on website www.airmenselection.cdac.in. Without registration, no candidate will be allowed to participate in the recruitment rally.
He told that for this, 12th pass male candidates who were born between 2 January 2004 and 2 January 2008 (both dates inclusive) will be eligible, while unmarried male candidates with Diploma or B.Sc. in Pharmacy, who were born between 2 January 2001 and 2 January 2006 (both dates inclusive) will be eligible. Married male candidates born between 2 January 2001 and 3 January 2004 (both dates inclusive) will be eligible.
Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed 10+2/Intermediate/equivalent examination from the Boards of Education recognized by Central, State and Union Territory in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects with minimum 50% marks. The candidate must also have minimum 50 percent marks in English subject or must have passed two years professional course with professional subjects with 50 percent marks. For pharmacist the candidate must have passed B.Sc or Diploma in Pharmacy with 50% marks.
He informed that the registered candidates will be allowed to appear in the recruitment rally by issuing provisional admit cards. The date, time and venue will be mentioned in the provisional admit card.
