Inter house hindi short drama competition organized in St. Thomas’ School

A ‘Hindi short drama’ competition was organized in the auditorium of St. Thomas’ School, Shimla, on 13th August 2024, on the occasion of 78th Independence Day of India. All the four houses of the school, Chinar, Shipkila, Kasturi and Toshquii House participated in the event. Students from classes VI to VIII participated in the event.

In this Hindi short drama competition, famous theater artist Rupesh Bhimta, Hindi teacher Kiran Marwa from Auckland House Girls School and Hindi teacher Dilip Sharma from Bishop Cotton School participated as judges.

In the competition, Shipkila House presented a short drama on the topic “Andher Nagari Chaupat Raja”, Toshqui House portrayed the current situation of ‘’Narmada River”, Chinar House depicted an emotional bond between”Father and Son ” and Kasturi House on “Those who try, never lose”.

The judges invited for the competition praised the Hindi short plays presented by the students and encouraged all the students. The result of the competition is first place Toshqui House and second place Chinar House

Special awards were also given such as best actor and actress. Anukalp Raj from Chinar House was the best actor and Devina Bejilwan from Toshqui House was the best actress. The program ended with the blessings given to all the children by the Principal and the judges.
