H.P. High Court’s International Day of Yoga, 2022

International Day of Yoga, 2022 was celebrated with much enthusiasm and fervor in the High Court of Himachal Pradesh today. The yoga session of 45 minutes as per the Common yoga Protocol was held under the supervision of the yoga instructors from the H.P. Ayush Department. High Court Judges, Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan, Justice Vivek Singh Thakur, Justice Chander Bhusan Barowalia and Justice Satyen Vaidya participated in the International Yoga Day Celebrations

On this occasion, Sh. Ashok Sharma, Advocate General, Ajay Kochhar, Chairman, Bar Council of Himachal Pradesh, Sh. Lovneesh Kanwar, President Bar Association, H.P. High Court and Balram Sharma, Assistant Solicitor General of India, were also present. Registrar General Virender Singh, other Registrars of the High Court, Central Project Co-ordinator and officers and officials of the Registry, also participated in the event.

The Yoga Asanas were performed by the participants meticulously under the supervision and guidance of the yoga instructors from the H.P. Ayush Department, Dr Sunder Sharma, Deputy Director (Technical), Dr. Uma Shankar, Dr. Geeti Sood and Dr. Swati Chandel, who also briefed the participants about the health benefits and cures of various illnesses by performing particular Yoga asanas. All the participants were elated and enjoyed the yoga session.
