The newly appointed Managing Director of Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Marketing and Consumer Federation Ltd. (HIMFED) Jagan Thakur paid a courtesy call on Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri .
On this occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister congratulated Jagan Thakur on taking over his new role and expressed hope that under his able leadership, HIMFED would reach new heights in the cooperative sector. He said that HIMFED plays an important role in the economy of the state and the government was committed to strengthening it further.
Agnihotri said that the state government was continuously working to empower the cooperative sector and HIMFED has a vital part to play in this. He expressed confidence that Sh. Thakur, with his administrative experience and efficiency would make the functioning of HIMFED more effective. During the meeting, discussions were also held on various cooperative schemes and activities related to consumer welfare.
