- Film making workshops were conducted by KEEKLI in association with award winning director Vivek Mohan at Laureate Public school and Roots Country School. The idea behind conducting the workshops was to offer an insight into an alternative career option to children.
- An Inter School Declamation and Slogan Writing Competition was organised by KEEKLI in May 2017 on the burning topic of ‘Lack of Playgrounds in Shimla City’. The initiative was widely appreciated and the issue taken up by the webzine spread far and wide with authorities taking note of it.
- KEEKLI organised an Inter School Story Telling competition in association with noted writers and famed author, Minakshi Chaudhary in June 2018. The KEEKLI BOOK CLUB was also launched on the very day. It is the first of its kind for the children of Shimla city. A year later, the Keekli Book Club can boast of several Book Club sessions that are headed by Ms Minakshi Chaudhary and which contribute to the creative surge in children. We also offer library access to children and greatly promote reading and writing.
- A Master class on film making was held at Gaiety Theatre in October, 2018 in association with KEEKLI and noted filmmaker Rajesh James for passionate film buffs and enthusiasts. KEEKLI has been putting in efforts to bring innovative and interesting platforms to the children of the city.
The KEEKLI CHARITABLE TRUST is a relatively young body and has undertaken the following few activities since its inception.

- Painting, Drawing, Poetry & Declamation Competition was held on 15 June 2019; for special and underprivileged kids in the morning; as well as an Inter-School competition in the afternoon. Children were encouraged to read their self-composed poems and speak on specific topics given to them.
