Principal and students of Loreto Convent Tara Hall School celebrated “Mother Mary Crowning and Labour Day” today in the school during which the students crowned Mother Mary and lit candles in her honour. Principal Sister Stephanie Rodrigues and Sister Marcia, Secretary, Education Society, were present during the ceremony and presented gifts to the support staff for their valuable and priceless contributions towards children and the school.
Lauding the efforts of the school support staff, Principal Sister Stephanie appreciated their work and said that we should respect their work and assistance. Support staff namely, Nirmala, Suman, Kalawati, Sita, Kamlesh, Gyan, Lal Chand, Mukut, Gauri Shankar among other were honoured and presented tokens of appreciation.
An entertainment programme was also organized to mark the celebrations as students of Class 6 performed a dance on a Pahari song “Accha Laga Vidya Ra Uthao Main”. Dancers were Mahak, Gauri, Shrishti, Avantika, Shrijan, Upasna, Akriti, Jannant to name a few. A Rajasthani dance “Rangeelo Maaro Dholna” was also presented by Sunaina, Jigyasa, Annanya, Bhavika, Shreya and other creating a very lively atmosphere, which was enjoyed by all the support staff, teachers and students present. Teachers and students soon joined the celebrations mark the end of the programme.
