Leader of Opposition Should Refrain From Issuing Baseless Statements

Launching a veiled attack on the opposition leaders for befooling people by spreading false statements about the functioning of the present congress government through various media platforms, Principal Advisor (Media) to the Chief Minister Naresh Chauhan said here today that the leaders of the opposition were still not ready to accept that the people of the state had routed them out of power. He said that it was due to the failure of the so called ‘double engine Sarkar’ of BJP that the state was left in a financial crunch. They had borrowed more than Rs. 25 thousand crore pushing the state into a debt trap. The BJP throughout its regime kept covering its failures and were busy settling scores with their opponents. The BJP led Central Government in one of its notification in 2021 made a provision to mark the attendance of MNREGA workers through National Mobile Monitoring App (NMMS).  Now propaganda has been started on Social media that the MNREGA workers were deprived of their various benefits through the welfare board. But the fact is that the so called double engine sarkar of BJP took decision in this regard.

Now, propaganda regarding marking attendance through NMMS has been started on various social media platforms, he added. “The previous BJP led government decided to implement NMMS throughout the country from 21^st May, 2021. Initially, the attendance through NMMS App was started in one Gram Panchayat for one work in each block. After 16^th May 2022, the government of India decided to discontinue the manual attendance for all the work sites wherein muster rolls have been issued for 20 or more workers, the attendance in these cases shall be marked only through the NMMS app and now on 23^rd December, 2022 The Central government has issued directions that all the states shall ensure capturing of attendance for all the works through NMMS”, said Sh. Chauhan. Now, the BJP leaders were trying to hide their misdeeds and follies. The opposition had a single line vendetta to target the state government for each and every misdeed previously done by them. He advised the opposition to respect the mandate of the people of the state and play a constructive role in a big way in the development of the state.
