Int Youth.13.8 (2)Loreto Convent Tara Hall celebrated International Youth Day on the 12th August 2016 by planting saplings in and around the school premises. The JPIC unit of the school as well as the student council participated enthusiastically. Placards and banners emphasizing the need of the youth of today to understand their responsibility as stewards as well as care takers of the Earth were prepared by the students.

School Principal Sr. Stephanie Rodrigues, Arvind Kaur as well as Rohini Sharma also planted saplings in the school premises. This tree plantation drive will not only motivate the students to pay more attention towards aforestation but also inculcate a sense of responsibility towards the already existing trees in the school.
