AuckMagic.20.6.15It was a fun day for the students of Auckland House School here today as they witnessed few great magic tricks by the Hyderabad based magician H.G. Ley, who has been coming to the city since last 16 years. Magic shows not only entertain children but also make them creative as the idea behind such shows is to widen children’s outlook and educate them. The show began with the magician showing few tricks with a huge handkerchief in different colors. The little ones were quite happy to see the hankies flown in mid air as they it changed into colorful flowers.

Ley’s next trick amazed the audiences as he called for a volunteer from the audience and told her to cut the rope but to the astonishment of all present the rope was getting longer and longer. He then called for three small girls and gave one plain white color ring to each girl and skillfully turned the colour of those rings from white to bright colours.

The Auckyites were all stunned and spell bound by these magic tricks. Next it was time for the little girls to feel the magic. These girls were fed biscuits from empty bags. The show concluded with the famous monkey puppet show which became the center of attraction for the kids. The puppet Pinky made the children laugh and they were full of excitement to meet the puppet.

Magician Ley said “My aim is to help children give up their bad habits and nurture good ones. Anything done by one can be done by any human being”.

More than 200 Auckyites attended the show. Children were all excited to watch this show. Shefali from class third was so impressed that she wanted to become magician herself. Ankita from Class VI said, “My friends and I loved the show very much. These types of shows are not only entertaining but they also impress the young minds to think differently. I am very inquisitive about magic and how it is done”.

The children walked out of the hall spellbound by magic show !!!
