Laureate.Sc.AnnualFnctn.6.10.16 (5)Laureate Public School and Laureate Institute of Education and Training celebrated the Annual Prize Distribution as the programme was presided over by Dinkar Buratoki, Director Higher Education. With a glorious past in academics he was certainly the best person to grace the occasion. He was welcomed by the Principal, Dr Meera Singh and Dr Rann Singh, Principal Laureate Institute of Education.

The programme started with traditional Vandana followed by the national song, Vande Mataram. Thereafter, Dr Meera Singh proudly presented the school report highlighting the achievements of the Laureate family in both curricular and co-curricular spheres. The school won laurels in various events organised by CBSE and other private and government institutions besides having a phenomenal Class XII result with students moving on to reputed institutions for higher studies.

Laureate.Sc.AnnualFnctn.6.10.16 (17)The cultural programme that followed was a mixed bag with dances from the states of Rajasthan, Maharashtra and our very own traditional Nati. Girls of Classes IV and XII gave outstanding Kathak performances and the school band rocked it with the yesteryear’s ever magical ‘We Will, We Will Rock You’.

Hip hop was the dance form beautifully depicted by the boys of Class XII and the tiny tots amused all by singing about butterflies and bears. The western dance put together by the boys and girls of Class III and the Hindi comedy play were complete entertainers. But it was the musical on female infanticide by the students of BEd that touched the most sensitive chord through its sensitive depiction of the social evil. And as is always, it was Bhangra that finally stole all hearts compelling the audience to tap and clap.

Laureate.Sc.AnnualFnctn.6.10.16 (31)The chief guest congratulated the staff and students and gave away prizes to the outstanding students of the session 2015-2016. The teachers of the school and BEd college contributed largely to make the programme a success.
