Maj. General (Retd) Atul Kaushik, Kaushik Niwas Nahan Distt. Sirmaur HP has been appointed as Chairperson of the Himachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Commission (HPPEIRC). He will hold the post for a period of three years from the date of his joining or until he attains the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier under Section 4(2) of the Himachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions (Regulatory Commission) Act, 2010 (Act No 15 of 2011).
The Governor Himachal Pradesh on the recommendations of Search Committee, has appointed is pleased to appoint Maj. General (Retd) Atul Kaushik as Chairperson. However his appointment shall be subject to the final outcome of CA No 11290/2013 pending in Honble Supreme Court.
