Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today inaugurated and laid foundation stones of various development projects worth ₹41.52 crore in the Barsar Assembly Constituency of Hamirpur district during his one-day visit.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the ₹1.34 crore Bumbloo Helipad, the ₹17.45 crore Mini Secretariat at Barsar, and the ₹1.11 crore Health Sub-Centre building at Bani, providing major infrastructure boosts to the region.
He also laid the foundation stone for the Dhaneta–Barsar road project, to be constructed at a cost of ₹18.72 crore, and a ₹2.88 crore check dam on Mann Khad in tehsil Barsar, aimed at improving connectivity and water conservation in the area.
These projects, the Chief Minister said, reflect the government’s commitment to ensuring balanced and sustainable development across all regions of the state, with special focus on strengthening infrastructure, healthcare, and rural development.
