Massive Fire in Banjar: Public Works Minister Ensures Relief and Support

Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh visited Tandi village in Banjar after a massive fire destroyed 17 houses, cowsheds, and other property. He enquired about the well-being of affected residents and assured them of government support.

Immediate Relief Measures

The Minister personally interacted with each family who lost their homes. He distributed ration kits to provide immediate assistance. He also confirmed that the government would release relief funds as per the updated relief manual to aid in rebuilding efforts.

Fast-Tracking Infrastructure Development

To enhance accessibility, the Minister instructed the Public Works Department to expedite road construction under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna (IV). He emphasized the importance of quick action to improve connectivity and support the recovery process.
