PM Narendra Modi’s visionary initiative Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) has achieved a remarkable global milestone by entering the Guinness World Records for the “Most people registered on a Citizen Engagement Platform in one month.” The 8th edition of the programme, conducted in collaboration with MyGov and the Ministry of Education, witnessed an unprecedented 3.53 crore valid registrations, making it the highest in the world for such a platform.

Conceived as a unique dialogue between the Prime Minister and students, teachers, and parents, Pariksha Pe Charcha has been instrumental in reshaping the examination experience into one of positivity, self-reflection, and growth. The initiative aims to reduce stress and anxiety around exams, promoting a culture of joyful and stress-free learning in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

The official Guinness World Record certificate was presented at a formal ceremony in New Delhi, attended by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of State Jitin Prasada, Secretary of School Education and Literacy Sanjay Kumar, MyGov CEO Nand Kumarum, and other dignitaries. Guinness adjudicator Rishi Nath validated and announced the record.

During the event, Dharmendra Pradhan highlighted how PPC, under the leadership of PM Modi, has redefined exam preparation into a nationwide movement, with over 21 crore viewership across platforms in 2025. He emphasized that such wide participation reflects India’s strong commitment to inclusive and holistic education and the collective vision of a Viksit Bharat.

Ashwini Vaishnaw described PPC as a transformative initiative fostering student well-being and showcasing public trust in digital citizen engagement. Jitin Prasada praised MyGov for making governance more participatory and effectively using technology to expand PPC’s reach.

Since its inception in 2018, Pariksha Pe Charcha has grown into a cornerstone of student engagement in India. By directly addressing issues like time management, digital distractions, emotional well-being, and mindfulness, the Prime Minister has empowered students to approach exams with confidence and clarity.

The record-breaking success of PPC 2025 is a testament to the collaborative efforts of students, educators, parents, institutions, and all citizens involved. The initiative continues to stand as a beacon of participatory governance and educational innovation, reaffirming that examinations are not an end, but a gateway to new beginnings.
