The Senior Section Speech Day was held at Auckland House School as Chief Guest for the morning was His Lordship Hon’ble Justice Mansoor Ahmed Mir, Chief Justice, High Court of Himachal Pradesh. More than 250 students of the school were awarded prizes for excellence in academics and co-curricular activities. This year the Reynoo Mathur Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Yachna Sharma, Nicoletta, Shrishti Malik and Parinidhi. The late Arjan Singh and Mohinder Kaur Batra Memorial Scholarship was conferred upon Ayushi Thakur of Form XII for being adjudged the Best All-Rounder of the Year. Apart from this the school disbursed scholarships and freeships worth Rs. 38,92,925/- to deserving students.
The highlight of the programme was the musical ‘The Wizard of OZ’ directed by Rachel Williams, from John Mason School, Abingdon, Oxfordshire U.K. There was also a performance by the students of John Mason School.
The chief guest was all praises for the efforts put in by the students make this Sesquicentennial Speech Day a success.
