Muskan, Visually Impaired, Becomes Youth Icon of Election Commission of India for HP

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has congratulated Muskan, a visually impaired PhD Scholar at HP University Shimla and excellent singer, for becoming the Youth Icon of the Election Commission of India for Himachal Pradesh. She is an inspiration for young generation.

He said the daughters of the state are striving hard to secure their place in the society. They are also contributing to the society in a big way.

The Chief Minister said that Muskan hailing from a remote village of Sindasali in Chirgaon of Shimla district, has proved that visual or any other disability cannot stop those who are determined to achieve their goals. She has made us proud, he said.
