In a celebration of resilience and inclusive storytelling, the National Film Development Corporation of India (NFDC) and Anupam Kher Productions hosted the red-carpet premiere of Tanvi The Great on 13th July at PVR Plaza, Connaught Place, New Delhi. The event drew prominent figures from government and cinema, with the screening starting at 7:30 PM.
Directed by visionary filmmakers, Tanvi The Great narrates the moving story of a young autistic woman who fulfills a dream her late father could not—standing at the world’s highest battlefield. The film features a stellar ensemble cast including Shubhangi, Anupam Kher, Iain Glen, Pallavi Joshi, Jackie Shroff, Boman Irani, Nassar, Karan Tacker, and Arvind Swamy.
The premiere was attended by CM of Delhi, Dr. Rekha Gupta, alongside Dharmendra (Chief Secretary, Delhi Government), Vikram Misri (Foreign Secretary), Sanjay Jaju (Secretary, Ministry of I&B), and other dignitaries—underscoring the cultural significance of stories rooted in courage and empowerment.
