NITI Aayog has successfully concluded Special Campaign 5.0, achieving 100% disposal of all pending cases and undertaking extensive cleanliness initiatives across its offices. The campaign, held from 2nd to 31st October 2025, was guided by the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi to promote Swachhta, efficiency, and good governance in public institutions.
Implemented in two phases—preparatory and implementation—the campaign focused on clearing backlogs, enhancing space utilisation, and ensuring a clean and sustainable work environment. During the preparatory phase (15th–30th September 2025), NITI Aayog identified 2,353 files for review, along with three Public Grievance Petitions and six Parliament Assurances requiring attention.
In the implementation phase, the Aayog achieved complete disposal of all identified grievances and assurances. Out of the reviewed files, 2,111 were weeded out, freeing around 215 sq. ft. of office space and generating ₹23,916 in revenue through scrap disposal. Intensive cleanliness drives were carried out across office premises, record rooms, and the departmental canteen, resulting in a more organised and eco-friendly workplace.
The campaign was further strengthened by the Swachhta Hi Seva Campaign 2025 (17th September–2nd October 2025), during which officers reviewed and digitised old records and promoted cleanliness awareness among staff. Vice Chairman Suman K. Bery administered the Swachhta Pledge to officers and employees, reaffirming collective dedication to cleanliness and efficiency. The pledge was followed by a campus-wide cleanliness drive led jointly by Bery and CEO B.V.R. Subrahmanyam.
Through the successful execution of Special Campaign 5.0, NITI Aayog has reinforced its commitment to the principles of Swachhta, Seva, and Sankalp Se Siddhi, furthering the Government’s vision of accountable, efficient, and sustainable governance.
