The Children’s Theatre Festival is set to showcase an exciting Inter School Hindi Drama Competition in 2023. The event will feature One Act Plays adapted from stories written by Himachali writers. Young participants will perform these plays over a two-day competition on 14th and 15th October. To ensure the best performances, the core team will conduct workshops for school theatre coordinators and children prior to the final presentations. Adapting Himachali Stories into One Act Plays:

Stories penned by Himachali writers will be creatively adapted intog One Act Plays for the competition. This initiative aims to highlight local literary talent and provide a platform for young artists to showcase their skills.


Two-Day Drama Competition:

The Inter School Hindi Drama Competition will span two days, offering a platform for participating children to display their acting abilities and stage presence. The event promises to captivate the audience with a diverse range of theatrical performances.


Workshops for Theatre Coordinators and Participants: To enhance the quality of performances, the core team will organize workshops for school theatre coordinators and the participating children. These workshops will provide valuable guidance and training, helping participants refine their acting skills and stagecraft.


Special Guest Mr Kumud Mishra: Renowned actor Mr Kumud Mishra will grace the occasion as the chief guest. His presence adds prestige to the event and provides an opportunity for the young artists to interact with a seasoned professional. Mr Mishra’s insights and encouragement will inspire and motivate the participants.
