Praveen Sharma Voted the Best Teacher at Swaran Public School

Celebrations at Swaran Public School, Tutikandi were at their peak on the occasion of Teacher’s Day. The programme was presided over by the School Principal Seema Mehta.

The programme commenced with Guru Vandana performed by Jiya, Dolly, Priyanka and Riya. Ayushi of Class II then presented a short glimpse of the life of Dr S Radhakrishnan, a teacher par excellence.

A short skit on the beautiful relationship between the teacher and the taught was then presented by Kavya, Shubham, Saurav and Yash.

The students then mesmerised the teachers with some soul stirring dance performances. Divya, Poornima, Sarika, Vanshika,Bhoomika, Tanvi and Ankita presented a Marathi Dance which was followed by an enthralling Rajasthani Dance by Hansika, Avni, Sonakshi, Arushi, Kashish and Vipashi. Priyanka, Natasha, Khushbu, Lata, Divya and Sonia of Class VIII then cast a magical spell with their Bollywood Dance number ‘Cham Cham’. Mitika and Sonia of Class X danced to the tunes of a Punjabi number along with Shivani, Arti and Sandhli of their class who gave another wonderful performance. Mrinal, Megha, Shreya, Akshita and Meghatigima of Class IX danced on the foot tapping number ‘Ladki Beautiful’.

All the teachers were then honoured with various titles which were poetically presented by Sonia and Gitika. The school principal addressed the gathering and stressed on the important role of a teacher in imparting education to young children. The staff then paid obeisance to Dr Radhakrishnan.

On this occasion the Principal and students unanimously chose Praveen Sharma as the Best Teacher of the school.
