Presentation of ICI STRUCTURE AWARDS

LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD in Architecture & Engineering Category TROPHY BY THE INDIAN CONCRETE INSTITUTE – 2022, SHIMLA CENTRE, Representing, HIMACHAL PRADESH STATE is being presented to the following:

1A). Ar. B P Malhotra, former Chief Architect, HPPWD , ( He’s Alumni of IIT Roorkee, First Architect to Join HPPWD, Architecture Dept, He’s Designed Armsdale Building, HP SECRETARIAT, State Guest House Peterhoff, Himachal Bhawan Chandigarh and Himachal Sadan Delhi and various other important buildings)

1B). Late Er. S C Kapoor, Former and First Engineer-in Chief, HPPWD ( He’s Alumni of renowned, Pune Engineering College, Served as Principal of Govt. Polytechnic, Hamirpur, He was the First ENGINEER-IN-CHIEF, of HPPWD, and was known for his honesty and dedication to service throughout the Pradesh.)
have been Conferred upon LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD TROPHY by The INDIAN CONCRETE INSTITUTE, Shimla Centre for the Year 2022. The trophy would be presented in a function to be held in HOTEL ORCHID , Shimla on 26th of February, 2023, at 10.30am
by, Indian Concrete Institute, Shimla Centre,
representating Himachal Pradesh State.

The ICI Structure Awards shall be presented by
R. D. DHIMAN ( IAS), Chief Information Commissioner, Himachal Pradesh and Former Chief Secretary to the Govt. of HP, who has very kindly consented to be the Chief Guest for the above function.

7. Er. Abhay Tomar, Regional Head , Ultratech Cement, Chandigarh

and other ICI Executive Council members and officials of Ultratech Cement, Shimla would grace the above occasion in this function.
Earlier, in the Meeting of Jury members held in a Virtual function held on 7th and 14th of February 23, CONCRETE DAY & CONSTRUCTION EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2022 were finalized.

ICI 2020 trophy of Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Sh. Nand Lal Sharma, Chairman, SJVN, CHQ,Shimla.

2. Er.Harish Malhotra, Chief Engineer (Projects), HPSEB has been conferred with CONCRETE TECHNOLOGIST AWARD for the Year 2022. ( He served as Chief Engineer (Projects) in HPSEB, and worked on design of Bhaba HEP, Ghanvi HEP, execution of Larji HEP ,Andhra HEP. and various other projects)
3. Er. Suresh Walia , Executive Engineer HPPWD has been Conferred with YOUNG CONCRETE TECHNOLOGIST AWARD. for the Year 2022
4. BEST BUILT INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT AWARD for the Year 2022 has been presented to
   HANOGI BRIDGE, Mandi, by HPPWD.
5. EMERGING ARCHITECT AWARD has been presented to Ar. Vijay Thakur, Assistant Architect, HPPWD, MANDI
6. EMERGING ENGINEER AWARD has been presented to Er. Sahil Rana, Executive Engineer, HPPWD, District Shimla.
7. ARCHITECTS/ ENGINEERING ASHIYANA AWARDS
   For Architects, Engineers , Contractors to about 28 numbers as well as owners from all Districts of HIMACHAL PRADESH have also been conferred by the ICI Excellence Ashiyana Awards for their contributions as per person below:
