PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh Reviews Himachal’s Infrastructure Projects

While presiding over a review meeting of the Public Works Department here today, the PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh obtained detailed information from the officers of various works of the department, may it be construction of roads, bridges and buildings. All the other senior field officers of the department were virtually present on the occasion.

The direction was given to complete the ongoing construction works within a stipulated time frame and submit the utilization certificates of all the works completed so that extra budget may be asked for and to be brought in the notice of the government.

The Minister sought the progress report of various works within two days and directed for updation of data. Besides, no expenditure should be made without the availability of the budget. The Public Works Minister chaired the meeting virtually here today and sought detailed information about the on going construction works in various districts and gave necessary directions.

Any hindrance and forest clearances may be brought to the notice of concern of the forest officers. He also directs to expedite the tender process. Principal Secretary of Public Works Department Abhishek Jain, Chief Engineer N.P. Singh, Chief Engineer National Highway Suresh Kapoor, Chief Engineers, Superintending Engineers and Executive Engineers from all the districts also attended the meeting.
