Cute, naughty and heavenly Kanhas’ along with Radhas’ came down to Regal Public School, Shimla, a playgroup and nursery school, to celebrate the colourful and lively festival of Janmashtami. The fun clad event comprised of many little kids dressed up as Lord Krishna and Radha. The main aim of the school in organizing such an event is to motivate the kids and to make them aware of the rich Hindu mythology.
Qualities that children can imbibe by learning about Lord Krishna are to be effulgent, strong, linguistic, truthful, to talk pleasingly, to be fluent, to become artistic, clever as well as grateful at the same time. The children danced to the tunes of devotional songs which added to the religious fervour of the auspicious day. To conclude with a lively atmosphere the day was celebrated with sheer enthusiasm and enjoyed by the children and all the staff members. Sweets were distributed among children to mark the celebrations.
