Regarding Covid Protocol Schools will Remain Close till 6th of November : Aditya Negi

In compliance to the directions issued by the Chief Secretary to the Government of Himachal Pradesh in video conference held on 28 October, 2021 and after considering the current situation of COVID-19 wherein positivity rate is increasing among the unvaccinated group of school going children. Therefore, Aditya Negi, IAS, Chairman, District Disaster Management Authority-cum-District Magistrate, Shimla, exercising the powers conferred in me under Section 34 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, do hereby order that all the Government/ Private Schools (all Boards) shall remain closed w.e.f. 01-11-2021 to 06-11-2021.

It shall be the responsibility of the Superintendent of Police, Shimla and concerned Sub-Divisional Magistrates to implement these orders within their jurisdiction. This order shall come into force with effect 01-11-2021 in the entire territorial jurisdiction of Shimla District and will remain in force till 06-11-2021. Violation of the order shall attract provisions of Section 51 to 60 of Disaster Management Act, 2005 and Section 188, 269 & 270 of IPC. The violators shall be prosecuted accordingly.
