Republic Day greetings : Governor and CM urge unity

On the eve of Republic Day, Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla and Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu conveyed warm greetings and felicitations to the people of Himachal Pradesh, wishing them peace, happiness, and a prosperous future.

In his message, Governor Shukla highlighted the importance of the Constitution, calling it the guiding force of the nation. He said, “Republic Day strengthens the spirit of unity and integrity of India,” and lauded the state’s remarkable progress across various sectors, attributing it to the dedication, hard work, and collective efforts of Himachal Pradesh’s citizens.

Chief Minister Sukhu, while conveying his greetings, described the state as a role model for the country and urged citizens to contribute actively towards building a developed and prosperous India. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the welfare and overall development of the people, emphasizing efforts to make Himachal Pradesh self-reliant and one of the most progressive states in the nation. The Chief Minister called upon all sections of society to join hands in realizing these shared aspirations.
